Guests were given a tour of the museum and memorial grounds. The exhibits detailing Nazi atrocities against civilians, as well as materials on visits by foreign delegations to Khatyn, were particularly interesting and emotionally engaging.
During the tour, the Georgian people's contribution to Victory in the Great Patriotic War was discussed. The delegation also inquired about how the memory of their fellow countrymen is perpetuated in Minsk, particularly Gvishiani, a Georgian who demonstrated heroism during peacetime.
The meeting concluded with a flower-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame, in which all members of the delegation took part.
Such meetings confirm that the memory of the war and the heroism of the defenders of the Fatherland unite peoples.
