The delegation was given a tour of the museum and the memorial complex grounds. Guests learned documentary evidence and physical proof of the crimes committed on this land by the Nazis.
During the official part of the event, Dmitry Viltovsky, Director of State Memorial Complex “Khatyn”, met with the delegation. At the conclusion of the visit, in recognition of the importance of preserving historical memory, Dmitry Viltovsky presented a commemorative souvenir to the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi.
Such visits confirm that the memory of the tragedy of war knows no bounds, and preserving historical truth is a common task for all humanity.
