Following the ceremony, Dmitry Viltovsky, director of memorial complex “Khatyn”, spoke to guests about the history of the memorial and its reconstruction, which has significantly transformed the complex.
As a reminder, repair and restoration work on the memorial began in 2023 and was fully completed in 2026.
The visit underscored the unbreakable bond between our countries. Jointly preserving historical memory is a crucial task, strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between the Russian and Belarusian peoples.
