The guests were accompanied by Sergei Syrankov, a member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic on International Affairs and National Security and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus.
During the visit, a tour was organized for the delegation, providing insight into the tragic experiences of the civilian population during the Great Patriotic War. After bowing their heads for a moment of silence, the guests laid flowers at the base of the sculpture and the Eternal Flame. Subsequently, the delegation learned about the history of the "Mound of Glory” memorial complex and laid flowers at the foot of the memorial.
The delegation’s visit reaffirmed a shared commitment to preserving the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War.
