As part of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, a high-ranking delegation from the Sultanate of Oman, led by Princess Muna bint Fahd al-Said, a prominent figure in education, visited Memorial Complex “Khatyn”.
The conference brought together leading specialists, representatives of major museums from Belarus and Russia, experts in cultural heritage and memorial work, as well as students from universities, colleges, and patriotic organizations. During the event, staff from memorial complex “Khatyn” shared experiences with their colleagues.
On December 6, 2025, a roundtable discussion dedicated to the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Genocide was held at memorial complex “Khatyn”. Employees of SMC “Khatyn” and Lida Historical and Art Museum participated in the event.
On December 9, 2025, a workshop was held at memorial complex “Khatyn”, attended by staff from the memorial and Dzerzhinsk District Museum of History and Local Lore. The event was timed to International Genocide Remembrance Day, a day to remember the tragedies humanity has endured and the need to prevent them in the future.
On December 4, 2025, a group of final-year students from the Translation School of BSUFL, led by Dean Irina Ryabtsevich, visited memorial complex “Khatyn”. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the complex's operations in the context of professional development for future young specialists and to expand their professional knowledge.
From December 3 to 7, 2025, as part of the national campaign for the Day of Persons with Disabilities, memorial complexes “Khatyn” and “Mound of Glory” will offer free tours of the grounds and museum exhibitions for people with disabilities.
On November 25, 2025, a regional workshop for directors of state museums of Minsk region "Exhibition and cultural-educational activities of museums: form, approaches, methods" was held.
From November 12 to 15, 2025, the 3rd Union State Forum, "Russia and Belarus: Common History, Common Destiny," are being held in Minsk. This international event is organized by the Institute of History of the NAS of Belarus, the Center for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and the Historical Memory Foundation, with the support of the Standing Committee of the Union State.
